Pavilion Rentals

 

Step into nature for your wedding, reunion or corporate event at Fanshawe Conservation Area. The day use area in the over 800 hectare park offers a natural, peaceful retreat featuring two large pavilions, a picnic shelter, shady green space and beautiful views of Fanshawe Lake. Book your event today and take advantage of everything the park has to offer including picnic tables, BBQ stands, playground equipment, sandy volleyball courts, hiking and biking trails and fishing. Opportunities are available to host larger fundraising events as well.

 

 

Fanshawe offers four options for you to choose from when planning your event:

 

The Watson Porter Pavilion is a large, rustic wooden building with two beautiful decorative stone fireplaces. Windows on three sides of the building add lots of natural light, while two huge sliding doors open up to bring in more light and provide a panoramic view of the Fanshawe Lake. The pavilion seats up to 150 in a reception style presentation or more for a casual cocktail style reception. The facility is equipped with a kitchen, washrooms and picnic tables (tables and chairs are an option and can be rented from private vendors). A large charcoal BBQ is available for use on the side patio.

 

The Beach Pavilion is a smaller building offering inside seating for up to 60 people in a reception style presentation. The pavilion’s large three-tiered patio and pergola make it a popular choice for families and companies looking to have a casual outdoor event; the view of the lake from the patio is stunning. The facility is equipped with a large basic kitchen, washrooms and picnic tables. A large charcoal BBQ is available for use on the patio.

 

The Picnic Shelter offers the most casual setting for any event. This open-sided shelter is nestled in an expansive grassy area near the lake close to playground equipment. Any size event can be based at the shelter making it an ideal place to host an outdoor-themed event. The shelter offers basic seating at picnic tables, two small BBQ stands and a potable cold water tap. Public washrooms are located nearby.

 

A fourth option is to rent a tent from a private vendor and have your event in one of the large areas of green space located in the day use area.
