Wedding and Pavilion Rentals
Step into nature and have the wedding of your dreams at Fanshawe Conservation Area. Conveniently located within the city limits, this 800 hectare park offers one of the most natural, peaceful settings in London. Share your special day with family and friends surrounded by large, shady trees, expanses of beautiful green space, and spectacular views of Fanshawe Lake. Fanshawe’s facilities are available from May 1 to mid-October. A reservation gives you two-days access to the Watson Porter or Lakeview Pavilion from 10 am to 1 am.
The Watson Porter Pavilion
This large, rustic wooden pavilion features two decorative stone fireplaces that are beautiful backdrops for an indoor or outdoor ceremony. Windows on three sides of the pavilion let in natural light. Two huge doors slide open to bring in more light and provide a panoramic view of Fanshawe Lake.
This facility seats up to 150 people in a reception style presentation. It is equipped with a basic kitchen, washrooms, tables, and chairs.
The Lakeview Pavilion
This medium-sized pavilion offers inside seating for up to 60 people in a reception style presentation. Couples planning a casual, outdoor reception appreciate the large, three-tiered patio and pergola and stunning view of Fanshawe Lake.
The facility is equipped with a large basic kitchen, washrooms, and picnic tables. A large charcoal BBQ is available for use on the patio.
2023 Pavilion Fees (taxes included)
Watson Porter Pavilion $2500.00
Lakeview Pavilion $700.00
A reservation gives 2 days access to the Watson Porter Pavilion or the Lakeview Pavilion (10 am to 1 am each day).
Conservation Area admission fees are included in the facility rental fees.
A non-refundable rental fee deposit ($1100 for the Watson Porter Pavilion or $450 for the Lakeview Pavilion) is due at the time of booking. The remaining rental fee is due at least 2 months before the event. No rental fee refunds will be issued within 2 months of the event date.
A refundable security/cleaning deposit is due 2 weeks before the event. If Conservation Area staff confirm that the building, contents (including tables/chairs) and surrounding grounds are in a clean and undamaged condition after the event, the deposit will be 100% refunded. If staff identify damage/cleaning issues, some or all of the deposit may be retained.
Fanshawe Conservation Area is located at 1424 Clarke Road between Fanshawe Park Road (Highway 22) and Huron Street, in northeast London.

The Lakeview Pavilion is a smaller building offering inside seating for up to 60 people in a reception style presentation. The pavilion’s large three-tiered patio and pergola make it a popular choice for families and companies looking to have a casual outdoor event; the view of the lake from the patio is stunning. The facility is equipped with a basic kitchen, washrooms and picnic tables. A large charcoal BBQ is available for use on the patio.
The Picnic Shelter offers the most casual setting for any event. This open-sided shelter is nestled in an expansive grassy area near the lake close to playground equipment. Any size event can be based at the shelter making it an ideal place to host an outdoor-themed event. The shelter offers seating at picnic tables, two small BBQ stands and a potable cold water tap. Public washrooms are located nearby.
