The newly renovated Watson Porter Pavilion offers a perfect blend of rustic charm and modern convenience, creating a versatile space that reflects your style and vision. Whether you're planning a cozy, intimate celebration or a lively reception with all your loved ones, this one-of-a-kind venue sets the stage for an unforgettable day.

The Watson Porter Pavilion

The spacious venue features soaring ceilings, exposed beams, and two striking stone fireplaces that add warmth and character to the space. Two glass garage doors open wide to reveal the views of the Fanshawe Lake, seamlessly blending indoor and outdoor elements and creating a one-of-a-kind setting and an unforgettable atmosphere for your wedding!

The venue comfortably accommodates up to 150 guests for a seated reception, with flexible layout options for cocktail-style gatherings or customized event designs.

Amenities include:

A basic kitchen for catering prep including fridges and bar servery
Indoor washrooms for guest comfort
Tables and chairs included with the rental
Wi-Fi access for seamless connectivity

2026 Wedding Packages

Two Day Package: $5,500+HST

Three Day Package: $6,500+HST

A Two Day Package includes access to the venue:
- Friday: 10:00am - 9:00pm (setup/rehearsal)
- Saturday: 8:00am - 1:00am (wedding)
A Three Day Package includes access to the venue:
- Friday: 10:00am - 9:00pm (setup/rehearsal)
- Saturday: 8:00am - 1:00am (wedding)
- Sunday: 8:00am - 5:00pm (tear down)
Conservation Area admission fees are included in the facility rental fees.
A non-refundable rental 50% deposit is due at the time of booking. The remaining rental fee is due at least 2 months before the event. No rental fee refunds will be issued within 2 months of the event date.
A refundable security/cleaning deposit is due 2 months before the event. If Conservation Area staff confirm that the building, contents (including tables/chairs) and surrounding grounds are in a clean and undamaged condition after the event, the deposit will be 100% refunded. If staff identify damage/cleaning issues, some or all of the deposit may be retained.

Pavilion Rental

Fanshawe offers two options for you to choose from for your event:

The Watson Porter Pavilion is a beautifully renovated, rustic-modern event space located within Fanshawe Conservation Area in London, Ontario.

With seating for up to 150 guests, this flexible venue is ideal for a wide range of events—from corporate meetings and team-building retreats to family reunions, milestone birthdays, showers, holiday parties, and celebrations of life.

Featuring exposed wood beams, two stunning stone fireplaces, and large glass doors that open to scenic views of Fanshawe Lake, the pavilion offers a warm and inviting atmosphere for any occasion. Indoor washrooms, a prep kitchen, Wi-Fi, tables and chairs, and ample parking are included to ensure a seamless experience.

Whether you're planning a professional gathering or a personal celebration, the Watson Porter Pavilion provides the space, charm, and natural setting to make your event truly special.

The Picnic Shelter offers a relaxed, outdoor setting perfect for casual gatherings for up to 75 people. The Picnic Shelter accommodates up to 50 people with covered seating and the opportunity to expand the capacity to 75 if using the grass area around the Picnic Shelter.

Nestled in a spacious grassy area near the lake and close to playground equipment, it’s ideal for family reunions, birthday parties, or company picnics. The open-sided shelter includes picnic table seating, two small BBQ stands, and access to a potable cold water tap. Public washrooms are located nearby for your convenience.

To help maintain a peaceful atmosphere for all park visitors, please note:

The shelter is best suited for casual, informal gatherings.
Weddings, religious ceremonies, loudspeakers, and DJ equipment are not permitted.
Excessive noise or disruptions are not allowed at any time.
Access to hydro is not available at the picnic shelter, and generators are not permitted.
A total of 10 picnic tables are included in the Picnic Shelter (9 covered, 1 uncovered)
